Berezovskoye High grade Cassiterite-Silicate Tin deposit Deposit Acquisition

Khingan Resources Limited ("Khingan Resources" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the acquisition of a license for exploration and mining rights for the Berezovskoye deposit, thereby increasing the Company's current resource base to 28,864 thousand tons of tin. The acquisition resulted from an open auction held on 26 May in the regional capital of Khabarovsk. 

 

The Berezovskoye license covers the area of 7.8 sq km is located 6 km from the tailings processing plant and 2 km from Centralnoye and has full access to existing infrastructure.  The deposit comprises 16 known ore bodies hosting high grade cassiterite-silicate tin ore. The Berezovskoye has been explored in detail during Soviet times and has JORC resources have been estimated based on historical drilling data at a level of 2 mln tones of ore containing 16 thousand tons of tin. There is a good possibility of further resources increase.

 

Potential mineable reserves of the deposit are estimated at the level of 897 thousand tonnes of ore containing 14 thousand tonnes of tin. 

 

Together with the Centralnoye license acquired in December 2015, the new acquisition completes the Company's efforts on consolidation of Maly Khingan tin properties, thus increasing the Company’s resource base and increasing the value for Company shareholders.
